I bought the 5 year geek squad protection plan when I bought my refrigerator 4 years ago. It stopped cooling and a geek squad repair person came in April to repair it. Two months later it stopped cooling again. I couldn't get an appointment for two weeks so the geek squad adent submitted a claim for a new refrigerator. Of course it takes forever to process the claim so in the mean time a repair person shows up and doesn't have the needed repair part and can't work me into his schedule for another 10 days. In the meantime (after no l;ess than 6 calls on my part) the claim is denied. When the repair person returns I will have been without a refrigerator for over a month. Most of my perishable food has been lost, and I'm told that some day I will get a letter explaining why my claim was denied. This is not the service I thought I was buying with my five year protecyion plan. I will have to think long and hard before I buy another appliance at Best Buy.

Welcome to our community! I've been without a fridge personally in the past, and can understand how inconvenient it can be to not have anywhere to put your perishable food. While it sounds like we weren't able to replace your fridge, it sounds like we should be able to repair it, as soon as it is possible to do so.
