Dead freezer, dead service

I bought a freezer for my brother while he was in the service dining home as a welcome home gift to him with geek squad. Yeah! However when he went to get something out of it yesterday it’s all mush. Everything has thawed out. When I called squad she told me that the will replace it. Oops this one is out of stock so talked me into an upright one…oh but that one I need to pay an extra $500 for. Uh no. My warranty is good until February 2022. I called the store- which takes you to a national call center. Ok. Kid there stated I had to schedule a repair. …okay. Again (no freezer- no food) scheduled a repair appointment for next week. Cool whatever. Repair company called today. Uh ya maybe we will see you Wednesday. We will call you Tuesday and let you know. Get home from radiation and it’s… you need to bring the freezer to the store. THIS FREEZER CAN HOLD A COUPLE BODIES. Why would I bring this into the store?!?! All I want is a replacement. If you don’t have that one that change it to the next closest for me!! I have NEVER had this much trouble!!!!

Having purchased a few appliances in the past, I know that transporting them isn't an easy thing to do so I can understand wanting to pursue a different options in getting help with this. I would be glad to help you look further into this.

Based on your post, it sounds like the Geek Squad has already looked into a few different methods to help with repairs or replacements. If you'd like, I can review your case history to help clarify these options moving forward. I will need to gather a few more details so I can continue to look into this.
