To all men known by these presents, I attest that the following is the truth, the entire truth, so help me God.
On aprox. April 20th last year I purchased a beautiful HP Envy laptop for the sole purpose of connecting two-terabytes of music I collected. This was an important part of my life as I'm disabled. As always I employed Geek Squad to set-up the computer. Geek Squad was not authorized to transfer or touch my data. Upon completion of the set-up it became apparent that the new music being added to the computer was bot copying to my external hard drive backup. After what became approximately thirty ongoing Geek Squad sessions trying to fix the problem Geek Squad managed not only corrupt my external hard drive backup, they also damaged my additional backups and the original computer that the music was backed up on. Totaling damaging all three devices. After refusing to respond to my request multiple times. I persuaded corporate executives to try and fix the damage caused by Geek Squad. Evidently, Best Buy does not only damage your property. They hide and cover themselves with lawyers who have refused to accept responsibility for the damages they caused. The music was studio quality reproductions that were non compressed AAC files. Many albums were extremely rare and irreplaceable. Sad that business has become a haven for people choosing not to take responsibility for their actions and failures. Unfortunately I have no computer and I have lost my most valuable thing in my life. Most people have children. My child was ny music as I'm a 62 year old disabled businessman who never operated in such a shady manner. All stock, credit cards and anything connecting me to Bestbuy has been severed permanently. Thank you Bestbuy ! This statement is a sworn statement of the facts.
