Damaged fridge

Our fridge was delivered Friday a day late, and we experienced the following problems:
1) Although the label clearly directed FedEx to deliver to the back door, it was delivered to the front door, necessitating help getting it to the basement door. Tthis was a major unnecessary problem.
2) The packaging had several tears.
3) There was a gash in the back of the fridge
3) Dents in the top rears corners
4) And a dent in the front
We really need this fridge now, and not wait for a replacement. So, I really believe we deserve a credit for part of this purchase, as we did not get what we paid for - a perfectly new item, which is a Best Buy product. I would like to think we will continue to use Best Buy as a source for our household items, but much would depend on how this problem is treated.
Please advise soonest. Thank you,
Sharon R

Re: Damaged fridge

Good afternoon, Sharon,

Welcome to our forums!  Regardless of the item, we expect any carrier we partner with to deliver our customer’s purchases with the utmost care, so it’s disappointing to hear the delivery of your fridge didn’t go as smoothly as we would have hoped.

I’d like to take a closer look into this matter and make sure we’re exploring all options available for you, however, I’ll need some additional information from you in order to do so.  For me to begin my research, I’ll ask that you send me a private message with the following information:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number or the “Customer Service PIN” from the bottom of your receipt

As you can imagine, we’ll want to keep this sensitive information out of the public view of our Support Forums, so be sure to sue the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to get this sent my way.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
