Dacor Built-in Fridge - LEMON

In Dec 2020 I bought a new, built-in Dacor Refrigerator from Pacific Sales in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. This fridge cost $8,000 so you would expect it to last a while.  The fridge lasted 4 months and is now broke.  A warranty approved/authorized service repair technician couldn't come to my home for over a week.  Pacific Sales or Best Buy would not offer to provide a loaner fridge so I'm "dead in the water" for at least a week without use of a fridge, after paying $8,000 for my Dacor 4 months ago.  They say its a manufacturer issue and "there's nothing we can do." After the service repair visit, I am advised that the cooling system has a block or some other malfunction, and needs to be repaired.  And of course none of the necessary parts are available for a few days so I will be "dead in the water" at least 10 days before getting any refrigerator service again. I asked for/demanded a new replacement fridge, as I don't want to be dealing with this "lemon" every few months.  I was denied.  I asked for the cost of my spoiled food to be reimbursed.  I was denied.  Doesn't anyone stand by their products any more? Be very wary of purchasing large appliances from Pacific Sales, Best Buy, and Samsung/Dacor.  They will not help you if/when the product breaks down ... even if only after 4 months!

I know how crucial it is to have appliances working in your home, especially when it comes to something as important as a refrigerator.
