I have filed an FTC Complaint against Best Buy and Geek Squad for knowingly giving out defective phones which is fraud. I will be emailing SAMSUNG AS WELL.
Purchased a phone from Best Buy 11/21/17. Also purchased Geek Squad protection plan. I utilized this plan and Geek Squad sent me a replacement on 10/15/18. The phone was found to be defective. They sent another replacement on 10/16/2018. That phone was found to be defective too. I spoke w/ a supervisor, made them aware we are continually getting defective phones. They assured us the next phone would not be defective. Another replacement was sent on 10/26/2018. I was very upset about the hassle we went through to get a replacement and cancelled the service in January of 2019. Now 3 months later, the replacement phone's battery is swelling and when I contacted Geek Squad they refuse to replace even after a pattern of giving defective phones.
