Computer repair is taking so long….. (Geeksquad)

Okay so I took in my laptop to Best Buy’s geek squad on July 17th and they told me that it should be ready for pick up on August 4th. Well, throughout the time period I kept an eye on the service number and it’s shipping status. It’s been stuck in “in transit” for half the time since I took it in and it’s been 4 days since august 4th. I’m worried that something happened to my computer or that they forgot about it, I need help as soon as possible so I can start my college semester with a working computer.

Welcome to our forums!  I know when I was in college, my laptop was an invaluable tool for my success, so I completely understand why you’d want to make sure you get yours back before the upcoming semester gets started. 


I’ll be happy to take a closer look into this repair and see if there’s anything we can do to provide you the assistance you’re looking for, however, I’m just going to need some additional information from you.  Most of the information I’ll need is sensitive information we’ll want to keep out of the public view of our forums, so if you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:
