Complaint....

I just purchased a new computer and printer two days ago. After setting both up and attempting to connect them, I found that the computer is not seeing the printer. I am sure this is a minor issue, but when I called into customer service, I was told that I needed to pay $99.00 for them to help me with it. This was their first step and they offered no help whatsoever prior to requesting payment. I guess customer service is now a profit center for Best Buy. A quick search of online reviews would have probably saved me from this as every site shows them with horrible customer service reviews now. I am going to box both items up and return them. I am sure their competitors will appreciate my business more than Best Buy.

As it sounds like you’re aware, there would be a charge for any troubleshooting services performed by our Geek Squad.  I apologize if this wasn’t made clear during your initial call to our Geek Squad agents, and has only added to your frustration.
