I bought a refurbished iphone 6 from Best Buy. I noticed some were more expensive than others and it was because they had a longer warranty. I called last time and was on hold for 20 mins and I finally got an answer and for what? For them to email me a form via email to fill out and turn in and have a response within 48 hours. First of all why did I waste minutes of my life on hold waiting to fill out a form that could just already be online. Well it has been exactly a week and not a response naturally I felt the need to call back and now I've been on the line on hold for 47 minutes. The fact that someone answered me and put me on hold for this long is unacceptable. I know I'm not the only one having issues with them. I've seen multiple negative reports on them. Why can't geek squad warranty be issued with this. Now I figure that maybe refurbished phones aren't covered by them because they don't want to take a risk, because maybe a lot turn out defective. I went to the store and the person at the desk told me the phone had apple care, how she would know that I have no idea she probably just wanted to get rid of me and didn't know what warranty her store offered. I drove an hour to the apple store for them to tell me and prove to me that my phone didn't have any apple care. I figured well maybe since I'm an elite member I would've gotten some help. I have gotten nothing. Can you imagine living with a phone that randomly shuts off and stays off randomly during the day. I can claim someone as the respondeat superior to all this, but i don't want to do that. On a side note I don't know how I didn't get hired by Best Buy while I was unemployed since I'm way more knowledgeable about tech and Best Buy policies themselves. I don't what I can and can not recommend refurbished phones from Best Buy or CCR warranty. So just to be safe steer clear of both.

While I’d like to think I can be without a cell phone, you don’t realize how much you truly are dependent on it until after it decides to stop working. It’s always a nice thing to know you’re covered if there’s a warranty in place though, but I’m sorry to hear the claim process itself has been incredibly stressful for you. I’d be happy to help point you in the right direction for further assistance.
As you may know, we are unable to fulfill or process any claims through CCR Warranty at our local Best Buy stores. To learn more about the service process though and for help regarding the status of your current claim, I would encourage you to reach out to CCR Warranty by emailing them at email@example.com or calling them at 866-579-8436. They would be in the best position to further address your concerns.
