I have a "little" problem. In 2011 Nov/Dec I bought in one of your shops a Kindle Reader during my bussiness trip (I do not live in US). It was long time ago and now the screen is broken. I dont know what happened and why. I talked to Amazon but I do not have any invoice/bill from that time. I didn't even registered it on Amazon, cause I didn't need it. They told me to contact you to ask whether it is possible to repair it. I have the device with Model No (from back of it) and estimated date when I bought it. It was in NYC in Best Buy on Union Square. I know its not simple problem.. but.. is there a way to help me? Thanks in advice.

Welcome to Best Buy's online community.
A good read is a great way to sit back and relax, that is why I enjoy the convenience of having an eReader accessible in between errands. I know how disappointed it must have been to realize that the screen on your Kindle broke.
You are welcome to visit a Best Buy store and have a Geek Squad Agent take a look at your Kindle. Most manufacturer warranties do not cover a damaged screen. Therefore repairs are usually the responsibility of the customer. By selecting Tablet Reservation, you should be able to set up an appointment with Geek Squad, especially if your visit to the US is limited.
I also understand that you might not have the purchase receipt. Most stores can help you with a copy, but if you would like to have a copy on hand let me know and I would be happy to assist with locating one.
