Best Buy Support and Sedgwick Insurance!

On 10/26/18 a delivery person from Best Buy delivered appliances to a neighbors house. In the process of leaving he ran over my lawn. The fresh sod was torn up and had tire marks in my driveway. I just had sod put down one week prior. The driver just drove off of my lawn and drove away without reporting it. I've filed a property claim damage with Best Buy and they pushed me off to Sedgwick their insurance company. They are awful. They refuse to respond via email and I've contacted the person handling my claim, but they don't pickup and I'm unable to leave a voicemail because her inbox is full. I call the main line for Sedgwick and it doesn't even ring. It just says all operators are busy 24/7. I've called customer service who says they can't help and now I'm on to the appliance manager from the store that the product was ordered from. He has reached out to the regional manager with no response. All around great serivce by Best Buy. This is absolutely ridiculous especially for someone that didn't even order the appliance from Best Buy but has been getting the run around. Also I live in Ohio and each day that passes it becomes too late to put new sod down since no one will respondand I will have to wait until next spring to get it fixed. Unacceptable by Best Buy and also Sedgwick, but based on other comments its a common occurence with them.

Welcome to our community.  One of the most frustrating things to me is when someone doesn't take responsibility for causing damage to my personal property.  Thankfully, it hasn't happened often, but I think the right thing to do is to always own up to these kinds of things.  I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had a pleasant experience with Sedgwick thus far.  I'll be happy to step in and see if I can get you some answers.
