Best Buy Sales Error - No Resolution

Almost 3 years ago we purchased a new washer and dryer, spending over 3K total. At the time of sale, I asked to buy an extended warranty on the washer, but not the dryer. This is a logical choice, since the wahers break much more often and are more expensive. 


I called today for service, was on hold for 40 minutes, only to be told the plan I bought was for the dryer, not the washer. On the sales receipt, it simply says "Laundry GSP" along with the SKU. Nothing on the receipt indicated the plan was for the dryer, not the washer. This is a mistake by Best Buy, which I hoped would be easily corrected. Unfortunately, that was not the case.


Next I was transferred three different times, the answer was always the same, "there's nothing I can do." I spent more than an hour on the phone.

Finally, I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was  connected to Lisa, ID# {removed per forum guidelines}. She started off with an arguementive stance, and told me to look up the SKU  on When you look up 5149410 on the website, it shows 7 items, the las was the bundle  I purchased. Lisa told me it was my responsibility to search for the SKU and make sure it was correct when I bought the items! Even if I had done that, it wouldn't have told me anything. I simply cannot believe her attitude and lack of custoemer service skill.


I want the warranty plan on the dryer canceled, and an order placed for the washer. I then want someone to come out and fix it. Basically, I want what I paid for.

Best Buy Refuses to Honor GSP Warranty

I've spent several hours on the phone and traded multiple messages, but BB is refusing to honor their Geek Squad Protection plan that I paid for. I do not recommend BB, nor do I recommend their GSP plan.
