Best Buy Geek Squad team not doing their job

Where do I begin, I drop off my expensive laptop that I use for work on July 10th, and they say it’ll be back in 2 weeks top, and now is the 1st of the month, I try checking on the status of the repair online and it says invalid service number, I try calling a few times and they said they would call me back, but nothing and now I can even check the repair status anymore, i’m behind on my work because of GEEK SQUAD BROKEN PROMISES, either replace it or just give me my money back. I really need my laptop back. Getting really frustrated.

Thank you for stopping by our community forum. I know that as a student even a single day without my computer is a big deal. While we do our best to complete repairs as quickly as possible we may need to order parts in some cases. I would be glad to check on this for you to see exactly what is going on. Oh wow!! Best change on my service order now, they pretend like they just receive the laptop, and it’s saying they have to order the part and pair me with different agents, it’s been almost a month and nothing. Now moderator is deleting other people reply.

This is just unacceptable, I want my laptop fixed in timely manner or give me my money back!! A whole month can ruin somebody business!!

We do our best to ensure that your repairs are completed as promptly and efficiently as possible, but on some rare occasions circumstances beyond our control may impact our estimated time frames. As stated in the Terms & Conditions of Geek Squad Protection, to which you agreed with your signature at the time of purchase: While we try to complete service as quickly as possible, we are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to manufacturer delays, parts availability, shipping to a regional service facility, Acts of God or other external causes.
