I brought my gaming PC into Best Buy's Geek Squad in Atlantic Center in Brooklyn NY because of a strange noise. I thought it was the fans or the water cooling system. After 4 days the geek squad replaced the cooling system and ran several diagnostics and installed some utility software while updating the BIOS. Now after bringing it home I am getting BSODs, the computer is locking up on idle, and when I turn the pc on this morning, the monitor didnt come on.
I have done some repairs of my own but was still seeing the locking on idle. I called support only to get a major runaround for over 2 hours. Finally an in-home appointment was made 2 weeks out. Horrible, horrible service and aftercare. If this doesnt work out I am demanding a refund of not only the service but the machine!
Get it together Geek Squad and train your people better.
