Recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 from Best Buy. I went into Best Buy with the device 3 weeks after purchase to buy the warranty as it seemed fragile and would like just in case i were to drop it or something. They told me that i could not buy the warranty as it was slighlty out of the 14 day period even though i had the device in hand and it was in perfect condition. I understood there was a 14 day return/exchange policy but did not know i could not purchase the warranty only 3 weeks out from buyng it.
Is it typical for Best Buy to deny a customer the purchase of a warranty with these circumstances?
