Around Christmas I purchased an Asus Z370-E Gaming Mothboard which also included an Intel i7 8700k, for $570. I was pretty pleased with the products until about 5 months after purchasing it, the RGB LED light stopped working. I know that these LED's should last about 60,000 hours and I've not even used them for 1000 hours. After reinstalling software, watching videos, and doing research, it seems there is no fix to this problem. I have always been extremely pleased with Best Buy's products and service, but this time it seems I ended up with bad luck. I have not misused the product in any way and I feel that I should have the product atleast repaired, refunded, or get store credit to purchase another product from Best buy. I'm willing to take my system apart and ship it back, and I have kept the products' boxes. Thanks.

Welcome to the Best Buy Forums! Thanks for making your first post with us.
It's understandable that you would expect your RGB LED lights to still be working, considering you have had the motherboard for less than a year. While it does not sound like this item would qualify for a return or exchange, it does appear that many Asus motherboards come with a manufacturers warranty that may last up to three years. If you would like to explore your service options under the manufacturer's warranty, I would recommend connecting with Asus directly. Asus can be reached on their website or over the phone at (510) 739-3777. In some cases, manufacturers will provide customers with a Return Authorization Code. If Asus provides you with such a code, Best Buy would then be able to assist you with placing a return or exchange.
