Asus Notebook

So, I have had this laptop since christmas of last year. It's giving me some factory problems like brand new it would not start up with the powersource plugged in. It came with all problems but I beared with it. Months later I can not take it. Is it possible to still return it to best buy under warranty from Asus? The problem identified was in fact a factory source problem. I even talked to their rep and confirmed I could return it to them via Mail. But I aint about shipping.

Re: Asus Notebook

Unless you purchased an extended warranty thru best buy you have a 15 day return period. You have a 1 year warranty thru Asus and would need to ship it to them or pay best buy to look at it for you.

Re: Asus Notebook

Good afternoon GregJackson66,

Welcome to our forums.  My apologies for the delay in our reply to your post, as we’ve become a bit backlogged on our Support Forums over the past few days.  I really appreciate your patience while we work to reply to our customers as soon as possible.

As nckhammond has mentioned, we’ll be unable to accept your Asus laptop for return, as it sounds like your purchase was made beyond the 15-day return/exchange period offered by our Return & Exchange Promise.  With that said, you may be able to utilize the manufacturer’s warranty to resolve the issues you’ve described.  If this is something you’re interested in, you can begin the repair process by scheduling an appointment with our Geek Squad here, or by calling our Geek Squad at 1-800-433-5778.

I hope this answers your questions, but if you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit our Support Forums again.

Thank you,
