Any help from someone? Geek squad support

On 8/28 my device was taken into best buy (unbeknownst to me) for an apple warranty repair. Estimated completion date was 9/3. Last update was 9/6 that it was going through extended testing. Called support and was told the screen has been replaced and testing should take no more than 24-48 hours....and it's currently 9/12 with no info...called the store it was taken to, no info, called support, no info.

Cant even get a reply from best buy here! Considering I'm the sole owner of the device and it was taken into bestbuy without my consent, I'm going to report it stolen. DO NOT BUY GEEK SQUAD SUPPORT. DON'T EVEN TAKE TO BEST BUY FOR SERVICE FROM APPLE SUPPORT.

Welcome to our community forums. I appreciate you taking the time to write to us about this repair. As a student, I know that even a day without a functioning device is a big deal so I can understand wanting to know exactly when this will be completed. I appreciate your patience while we work to respond to your message and I would be glad to see how I may be able to best assist you.

 

I'm not quite sure I understand your original post. Can you please clarify what you mean by this device being taken in for service without your knowledge? Generally, the store where your product was dropped off at can provide the most information, have you been able to get in touch with them? If not, I would be glad to follow up with them on your behalf.
