I am insanely frustrated right now. I took my laptop in to Geek Squad to get it looked at and they said basically, "Oh, we can't do anything, you have to send it in to ASUS". So I went online, registered my laptop with ASUS, and when I went to create a warranty/repair ticket, it said I had to go through Best Buy/Geek Squad. I can't win, both places say to go through the other!! THE WARRANTY IS VALID, AND I NEED A REPAIR!! What do I do??

Hi there, ZVayder,
Thank you for taking the time to connect with our team here on the Forums! I'm disheartened to hear about the state of your laptop, and the issues that arose with scheduling a service. I can understand how this would cause some confusion, and I would be glad to offer any support that I can regarding this.
Can you please share additional details regarding the state of your laptop? If this unit was purchased at Best Buy, do you recall if you opted for the Geek Squad Protection plan?
Best Regards,

Right now my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is having a fan issue, specifically with the GPU. Its not that the GPU gets too hot, it's that the fan itself is defective. I found many other G14 users that complain about this as well. They said that this is a common defect (something about a faulty bearing) covered by the warranty, which makes sense. I do not have geek squad protection, but when I took it in a geek squad service member said I need to send it in to ASUS, because my warranty is still active. So I register my product online, go to create a service ticket with ASUS itself, and they say I have to go through Best Buy... Please help me, spring break is coming up and thats the only time I have to send it in.

I appreciate you providing those additional details, ZVayder. For clarification, was this unit purchased at Best Buy? If so, you should be able to get that Asus laptop serviced under the manufacturer's warranty through Geek Squad. You can schedule an appointment online here.
If you come across any other issues with scheduling an appointment, I would like to invite you to call Geek Squad at 1-800-GEEKSQUAD, which is 1-800-433-5778. Alternatively, I would be more than happy to assist with any other questions or concerns you may have!
Best Regards,
