Do Not Buy Geek Squad Protection Plan
I have a leaky washing machine and have been waiting 2+ months to get it fixed.
I first contacted GS on 10/1 and was told there were no service slots for 3+ months. What is the value of a service plan that makes you wait more than 3 months to get something fixed? Switching to a supervisor ended in a disconnect, so I drove to my local store and tried speaking to the manager who was (miraculously) able to get me an appointment 3 weeks later, 10/19. The GS visit determined that I needed a part that had to be ordered. Since 10/19, there was been complete silence from Best Buy and Geek Squad.
I've called multiple times with nothing but a promise of a reply within 48 hours. Guess what, silence. I've written to "customercare@bestbuy.com" with no reply.
I'd love to hear back from someone who has had success getting a professional to handle an issue of this type.
Thanks.

Welcome to our community, JZ05452,
Thank you for reaching out to us. A washing machine would be vital to any household, and I can understand your desire to get it back up and running as soon as possible. My family relies on our washer several times a week, and I can only imagine having to go without one for any length of time. With that being said, I’d be happy to take a deeper look into the situation and go over our options. To get started, can you please send me a private message with your full name, email address, and phone number?
