Every time I come into best buy I get over whelmed because my three kids get excited and go all over the place. I would love to spend my time shopping in best buy but I have to hurry and get out because of being overwhelmed. It's hard talking to employees about certain products due to the fact my name is mommy mommy mommy. Lol it would make things easier if they had a certain place in the store just for kids. Games and fun. The thing is when parents are relaxed we tend to spend just a little bit more.

Given the premium that floor space is in most of our stores I don't really see how we could do this, but I do hear where you are coming from on this. I would like to hear from other parents as to what they think about this idea. Make sure to vote for an idea if you like it.

Hello pinkchick welcome to the forums!

You know even though I don't have any kids myself I do you like your idea of distraction free shopping! One of the the best points of BestBuy.com is to view products, compare, and you can even chat with a live rep on the page while you are shopping. They can offer you technology advice and other sound advice when it comes to shopping.

If you see what you like you can place the item in your cart and pick it up in the store. You can also elect to talk to in store reps about the item when you pick it up and more.

And also these forums here are there for you if you ever need any advice on what to buy. Either I or one of the very many knowledgable forums members on here can help you as well. It's just one of those ways BBY accomodates all its customers Smiley Happy

Just add a small corner where the little kids can throw water balloons at the "employee of the month" haha

Best reward program ever am I right? Smiley Wink

But in all seriousness I think this is a great idea, as BB did state though there is quite the lack of space to consider here. Nor would I want to go to the back of the store and leave my children in a room or a corner by themselves.

No one has said it yet? Hire a babysitter if you don't want to feel rushed in and out of retail stores when you have the little darlings in tow. Far too often I see 'parents'(and I use that term loosely) let their brood run all over a store making tons of noise and generally being real pains in the posterior to other shoppers. I'm sure I probably did some of this when I was a kid myself. Yet now as a grownup I give these moms and dads of the year a look that could kill when they refuse to control their offspring.

As a parent of twins I can see the attraction and would love it.

As a parent of twins I would never consider going into a big store with some kiddy things and leaving them there to play while I walk around the store.  Some kids don't have much of an attention span and as soon as you walk away they may tend to follow you or all of a sudden look around and not see you and panic.  etc...

Best Buy would have to supply an associate (let me rephrase that) a stranger to watch your children while you shop.  The liability on Best Buys part would be tremendous.

Some have posted that they don't trust the idea of a kids corner, I understand a lot of people are afraid to leave their child unattended, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't leave my five year old alone but my two older kids love to go to best buy and they are always on the phones and tablets playing games.. I trust my kids not only because of their age but because I have taught them to be responsible and aware of their surroundings... I just thought it would be nice to have an area where the kids could go and play games and feel comfortable with out best buy employees getting into the kids because the alarm sounded off or there not suppose to touch. Children should feel just as welcomed as an adult. As a parent you have to use your best judgement and know when your kids are responsible enough to go ten twenty feet away from you.. I wasn't asking so parents can send new born babies over. It's was more for older kids.
