Veteran designation on employee name tags

I think it would be a fantastic initiative for the company to offer it's military service veterans the option to add their service designation to their employee name tags.

For instance, on the bottom right of the name tag it would read "U.S. Air Force Veteran" or "U.S. Navy Veteran".

This inclusion to the employee's name tag would project an image to best buy customers it's support of service veterans and their families.

It would also give the veteran employee a sense of pride, encouraging them to represent themselves to a higher level of grooming and professionalism to reflect the service designation included on their name tag.

Veteran employees would also be able to identify and connect with customers who themselves are service veterans. Those customers would see fraternity and it would inspire a feeling of confidence in the employee during the initial greeting.

This practice has been implemented with success in major national brands including Starbucks, Home Depot, Ford, Walmart, Lowe's and more to mention.
