I had to call My Best Buy 1-800 number for assistance.
The phone system sound quality is horrible. It is like making an International call
I was very difficult to understand what the people were saying from all the back ground static.
If I ever had to rely on phone support for something serious it would be very difficult.
It sounds to me like you merely had a bad connection. I've call our 1-888 number many times and have never noticed poor sound quality.
Well the first guy I talked to got disconnected from me. I had to call a second time.
This is also not an isolated incident. I called once about 4 months ago with similar result.
I can vouch for bobberuchi on the call quality I've called on occasion too and it's sounded less then perfect but I was able to understand what they were saying. It's hit and miss when I've called the couple times I did.
Only thing I can really add input here is that the "holding" music for geek squad/1-800 is horrid...it's like a 10 year old palying the guitar quality.
