I think Best Buy should really look into the idea of "stacking" gift cards in an account like Amazon allows you to do.  That was I could have an avaiable balance sitting in my account ready to go.  This would be much easier for when you have multiple small gift cards before you have to get the combined in the store.

I believe the system still allow you to buy a new giftcard by paying with giftcards but you have to know the exact amounts. If I recall correctly there`s an existing ideax that was to have everything linked to a MyBB account so you could simply just load the giftcards and have your MyBB certs available when the card is scan oe your phone # is entered. Good idea

I attempted to buy some giftcards online with giftcards a few days ago and it rejected my order TWICE!!!  So I guess it's hit and miss with that.

Pretty sure it never worked online only could be done in-store. The exact amounts of each giftcard needed to be given to the cashier.

This sounds like a reasonable idea to me. I'm sure it's possible, but would require an investment on our part to update our systems. Would anyone else like to see this idea put into place? Make sure to vote for an idea if you like it.

I'd be much more likely to impulse buy if I could save up in an account.

I often think about how nice it would be if best buy had this.  No crediting back the original gift card on a price adjustment, no gift card to worry about losing.  

I realize there would probably be an investment on best buy's end, but I believe it would pay off quickly for them in increased traffic and sales.

I think it's a GREAT idea.  I've got 20 gift cards I'd love to be able to use at one time...

How does this not have a million upvotes??!  I'm quite sure every major chain retailer has had reloadable GCs for at least fifteen years at this point.

I like this idea, but it'd need to have a way for the GCs to be accessible in store as well so they can be used without needing to place an online order. It sure would be nice to not have to carry around my gift cards or remember to grab them when I finally want to use them.

True.  There's got to be a way to desgn the Best Buy app to link your account's gift card balance so it can simply be scanned in-store somehow.
