I own MN largest Solar installation company and would like a chance to show you the benefits of installing solar on stores in favorable utilities and states through-out the USA. I think some of those stores would also benefit from a partnership in selling solar to customers in the store. Its a market that woudl fit well with advanced electronics and home installations.

Saving energy is a gread idea! However Best Buy seems more of a retail environment for appliances such as refridgerators and freezers and other home consumer goods.

I do note that some stores in my area has the energy saving guide tag on all models to tell what the average applicance runs on a yearly basis.

And I heard they worked with the local utility companies in the past to save money when you upgrade your kitchen appliance to one thats compliant.

Not sure how a solar display would work in a retail store as Best Buys store layout is green by todays standards.

What are the average usable hours of solar genertion per in Minnesota for a year?

You should point out that the most significant benefit of solar is to alleviate the load for electric companies during peak times.
