Show open box store location

You can purchase open box items in the Best Buy Outlet that can be shipped to you.  However, there are a number of items that are not open box in the outlet.

It would be good to see the location of a specific open box item.  The customer has to be aware that the item will not be shipped to them, if they want it they need to get to it.

There are some great deals out there for open box, but nobody wants to run to every store in 100 miles to see if that is the one that has that item.

@bobberuchi, Hmmm that is interesting. Would anyone else like it to be easier to see where open-box items are currently located at? Make sure to vote for an idea if you like it.

I'm a bit confused by this idea as I can see where an open-box item is on BestBuy.com. I click on the Available Today link on the open-box product page, it brings up a list of stores, and then you just need to find the one where it states the item is available today.

Look at Sony - Distagon T* FE 35mm f/1.4 ZA Full-Frame E-Mount Prime Lens - Multi

It shows Open Box Available

Click on the link for the Open-Box: From $1,048.99  then scroll down to the Buying Options.  It shows the Open Box as In Store only and does not indicate which stores have this particular lens.

I purchased a home theater receiver a few months ago. I had narrowed it down to 3 I wanted.

I had the regular priced one in my cart.  I walked over to where they keep open box in that department and there where two older models of what I wanted on the shelf. I pulled them up on my phone and they also were listed as open box in store only.  I never would have found them if I had not specificaly went looking for them in the store.  I was in the same store again before Thanksgiving and the other receive was still there.

@bobberuchi I know this is normal in terms of purchasing - I figured since Satisfactory is missing signficiant parts, damaged or both they were trying to save on a return by making you go track it down but I’ve never seen it not tell you which locations have it - usually it will say not available within 250 miles if nothing else. Is it just on this SKU or were you able to replicate it on other ones?  You may have found the unicorn!

Like....you are even ASKING that question is incredible.  You think people LIKE the mystery of seeing something to buy and then getting denied without finding out where the item ACTUALLY was?  This is hilarious.....
