When I come to BestBuy I am looking for bestbuy sold items, not Joe Schmoe, Buy.com, etc.  It makes it difficult to shop your store when a lot of other companies items are listed in my search results.  To make matters worse many times these other retailers have their items mis-categorized which creates a hodge-podge listing of items that aren't what i'm looking for.  On 2 occasions I ended up going to another store because the search results were so irrelevant.

It's probably set up this way because we want our customer's to see all their options when shopping on BestBuy.com. You can click the Best Buy Items link, and you would then only see products be sold by us. Is anyone else bothered by seeing the Marketplace items in their search results? Remember to vote for an idea if you like it.

He's not asking for Marketplace items to be filtered by default for a first time visitor, he's asking for a way to set a permanent cookie or whatever for a repeat user to not see Marketplace items on all future visits. 

Speaking for myself, I only want to see what is on a shelf in my local stores, I don't even care what Best Buy sells online, not ship to store, nothing.  On.  The.  Shelf.  As far as Marketplace items go, if I see a competing item I'm interested in, I leave Best Buy's site and order directly from the company listing the item, or I don't buy it at all.

You can now choose to filter out all Marketplace items from your search on BestBuy.com. Thanks for the idea.
