Raido Frequency Glasses

I would like to see a pair of glasses capable of viewing rf frequncies. You would dial the glasses into a certain frequency like a radio and the rf would be converted to video to see radiating patterns which could also be displayed in various colors per the frequency.

Wouldn't that be an idea for a company who makes products? Just wondering

I can imagine how distractive these glasses would be while walking...

Being that we own Insignia, Dynex, and Rocketfish we are a manufacturer. With that said, I have to admit the thought of these glasses intrigued me, and I have to admit I'm not sure what their specific use would be. Would they be merely for visual entertainment? Does anyone else have a take on this?

Well I was thinking more along the lines of educational. This would help with seeing the radiation patterns on different type of antennas. It would be a great tool for communication electronics. Excellent tool for communication theory. Also I think if you were to incorporate a spectrum analyzer the glasses would make troubleshooting easier. You may be able to see harmonics on a certain frequency and this would aid in finding bleedover issues on radio communications. Lastly the instrument landing systems would be able to be visualized. I think it would help a lot of people who can not envision these patterns in their minds of what is radiating in that space.

While it sounds like an awesome idea...I'm not sure the price would really be something people expect out of a rocketfish or Insignia product.  Any estimates on how much something like this would cost to manufacture and/or put on shelves?
