I have read about TotalTech for the $199 per year price tag and it has some pretty strong points on what it offers. However that price point is really steep and unless you purchase a LOT of stuff from Best Buy, it can seem expensive.

Competitors such as Walmart and Amazon have monthly subscriptions that get you free 2 day shipping on everyday items. I do shop at Best Buy from time to time but unless you have a certain amount for qualifying items, buying a small item with the shipping fee can add up. 

I would gladly pay $14.99 per month for a modified version of Total Tech.

Instead of yearly subscribers that get 60 days, monthly subscribers would get 30 days to return a product. Also some features of the membership would be reduced from what yearly subscribers get. And monthly subscribers would get free standard shipping on all items on Best Buy. 

The free shipping would tempt me to shop much more at Best Buy for the everyday small computer items I need from time to time. And I would not have to worry about a dollar figure minimum to qualify for free shipping.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm sure this was considered already by the business team, but I am curious what others think of this idea. My guess is that it would not be feasible given the type of coverage that a Totaltech membership provides. Remember to vote for an idea if you like it.

I think a problem with this would be that there are some pretty awesome services offered with TT 

A big one is delivery and set up.  I think people could then get TT, buy a TV, get it delivered, cancel TT. 

And there would have to be an option for automatic renewal.  If not, people may not do it until a day later and then they would lose their protection on everything that had been protected.
