Is Best Buy planning to sell them? Because retailers store like Samys camera and B&h already selling them in online shopping.
Interesting Flash products. Would anyone else like to see us carry these products? Make sure to vote for an idea if you like it.
I myself have a nice set of studio flashes that I use for various events. A good set of flashes can make a huge difference for a photographer.
However, I don't know if these would be a good niche for Best Buy.
This is a pretty niche item.
BB does already carry some Studio Flash kits that are very modestly priced. I would think looking at sales records of those would help in determining if a higher end flash kit like the Godox would fit will in the store schema. They most likely would be order only and not stocked in stores. Items like this would be ordered by the customer and then purchasing would order it from the manufacturer. This could take for a lengthy time between ordering and receiving the item.
I needed a backup flash and got myself the V860ii. For entry or consumer photography, Godox does fill a need.
However when needed rapid fire or quicker recycling. The Godox recycling could not keep up with my Nikon flashes with an external QFlash battery.
So for casual photography I reach for Godox v860. For event/paid work, where the flash needs to work and not fail.... I reach for my Nikon flashes with an external battery pack.
