They are available via the marketplace. but you hit on one of the two main reasons why I never buy anythign off the market place.
#1 Extende servcie plan not avialable.
I checked some reviews and these are good solid headsets. not top of the line and not bottom of them line.
However, BB does already carry a large selection of Gaming Headsets. However, it would be nice to see some less expensive options on the shelf.
That's the one reason why I'm making this post. I want the extended warranty plan. I know one of your partners has the warranty (newegg.com) but I'd also like to be able to get it in stores.
I think one of the things is that there are already a lot of online choices for head sets.
The one thing that turns me off to this brand is where it says.
Dolby 7.1 surround sound;
I cannot get into a company that would make that claim for a head set.
However, I certainly would not buy them if I could not get the servcie plan from BB.
I have a Turtle Beach Wireless Headset that my daughter uses all the time on the Xbox.
I also use it at night when there is a lot of noise and I want to watch TV or if I want to watch late at night and not disturb anyone. They have really good sound.
My issue is that Turtle Beaches don't have the greatest sound for PC Gaming. I play a very well known FPS known as counterstrike. I'm using wireless headsets. And they say it's surround for saying that it's virtual surround. Meaning it just reacts to the sounds in game and try to. Sometime it is wrong and I can understand why you don't like brands that label that but these headphones have been approved by so many reviewers including LinusTechTips, a very well known Media Group on YouTube.
Our Turtle Beach is used for Xbox I think it sounds amazing. For PC Gaming I use a nice set of Sony headphones I got at BB very comfortable and great sound.
There really is no such thing as surround for headphone, much less Dolby 7.1. Which is simply impossible without 7 speakers.
