I believe somebody fraudulently opened a Best Buy account in my name.  I went to your Web site to find contact information for Best Buy so I could write you a letter letting you know and asking you to take appropriate action.  After spending fifteen minutes on your Web site, I was stunned to find that nowhere (unless I missed it) does it contain an address for your corporate headquarters or fraud division.  I had to get your address from your corporate filings with the Secretary of State.

Do you not want your customers to be able to contact you?  Do you not want people to have a way to report fraud?  Why is something so basic as "how to contact us" not on your Web site?

Sounds frustrating.

Your best bet is to call the  1-800 number or write your letter to a moderator right  here in the forums.

The issue with sending a letter to the office is to whom would you send it?  It is a big building with lots of people.

From this forum navigatge to the customer service area and choose the appropiate sub catagory and summarize your issue.  A Best Buy moderator will then send you a private message and you can begin dailog pretty quickly with a real person who is going to help you.

However, one will probably see this post and contact you directly.

An issue with publishing their office address could be that they would receive a lot of mail that may not be relevant.  It is also easier to track a trail via emial.

There should be multiple ways to contact us in order to get assistance listed on our website, but you are correct I don't see our mailing address listed there. With that said, I do see that a simple Google Search of Best Buy Corporate shows our address as the top search result.  Does anyone else feel there is need to have our corporate address listed somewhere on BestBuy.com? Make sure you vote for an idea if you like it.
