 I think Best Buy should consider making a gamer unlocked like program but for dvds, blu-rays and music cds(maybe even itunes giftcards). This would basically get more people to choose Best buy over other places, or even a purchase over a rental. I know an extra 10-24 points doesn't sound like much on the surface, but the points would add up, plus you could add 10% off all dvd or music purchases, maybe even an extra 500 rewardzone points for every 5 DVD or cds of any price. It doesn't even have to be a prograam, it could just be another perk of rewardzone, and also you could get coupon books or something for discounts of these things like gamer unlocked, which is an exellent program, let me know what you thing

I could see many customers being interested in such a program. I would like to hear from other customers or employees on this. What would the program be called? Are there any other benefits that should be included?

definitely BB should start a DVD/BLU/CD club just like with the gamers club since this would give them a clear advantage over all other retailers selling the same items. But b/c the items generally aren't as expensive as games(unless there TV seasons or CE) I understand we would have to buy more to get rewarded.

1-25% off coupon 1 DVD/BLU/CD for every 10 release week purchases made

2-50% off coupon 1 DVD/BLU/CD for every 25 release week purchases made

3-1 free DVD/BLU tv season if purchasing all the other season on the same receipt

4-$10 RZ for every 5 DVD/BLU release week purchases made

Make more bundles with like purchases so if a new season or movie in trilogy comes out offer a package to get people to buy the whole series up to that point. And if we've already purchased the other seasons from BB then offer a % off discount for the newest release.

As always, have Black Friday deals just for members & include other holidays as well.

Doing this will always keep foot traffic & web traffic high

I'd just like to see some form of sales/deals on anime, myself.  As an employee, coupons wouldn't really apply to me, but with the amount of shows/series I have to order from the website, extra reward zone points could be nice.

However, I just put the purchases on my Bestbuy credit card and get the double reward zone points anyways.  I imagine that such a benefit would probably not allow you to get quadruple points on purchases, but if it did, then I'd definitely love it.

We do get quite a few customers that come in pretty much only for movies and music and this could be a great bonus for them.

Instead of it being across the board even if thats too extreme.  Maybe have coupons for "double points purchases".  Or surprise days of the month where for going in store and making a purchase they get additional points.

That way people have a little more control over what they are purchase as well as promoting purchasing in store.  I'd love to feel rewarded for actually going in the store.

I'd prefer a straight percentage discount like 10-25%. That would make me shop at Best Buy for Blu-Ray releases over WalMart and Target, both of which have stores closer to my house than any Best Buy and both of which have stores that are across the street/down the road from the Best Buy stores I shop at.

Even w/o the 2X points BB still has the best RZ program out I pretty much pm(60 day price match window starts in June for RZ Silver members) everything that target, walmart, costco has at BB for the points.
