Hi! It would be really great if we could select a preferred/default store so we don't have to change it every time we log in. (I know that is supposed to be a feature, but it doesn't work. I select a preferred store, and it immediately reverts back to one about 30 miles away.)

It is very frustrating.  I believe what is happening it is determining your nearest store by your internet connection location.  When I am on VPN on my work computer from home it thinks I am in the city near my office.  

When at home and on my network it thinks it am near my local store.

Then for some unexplained reason it will show my local store being one 50 miles or 150 miles away.

I agree. It would be great to set you HOME store. I have set it many times to no avail

Nice Idea! Would anyone else like to see this as a reality? Make sure to vote for an idea if you like it!

Agreed that this really needs to change.  I live in the middle of Indiana and would like for my prefered store to be the one that is minutes from me, but the Best Buy site keeps showing my prefered store as being in Chicago IL!  I agree with the original poster that we should be able to set the prefered store and keep it.
