Best Buy has a unique, large assortment of products versus other retailers and it creates both a challenge and an opportunity depending on how well you follow and understand technology.  During the holidays, I noticed that Best Buy had cards next to their price signs that indicated than an item was a hot gift idea or something to that effect.  I feel like Best Buy should bring these back and run these for Father's Day and Back to School (since Mother's Day is about to pass maybe do this for Mother's Day next year in addition to).  


This is a great way to call out what the new, hot gadgets that people are gifting, thereby narrowing down the number of items a person has to choose between.

I certainly think it could increase impulse buying.  I have observed people quite often in a store a few weeks before Christmas stressing on what to get this or that person they don't really know what to get. And they will gravitate towards such signage.  Especially in toy departments where they mark areas by age appropriate.   I know that's where I gravitated when looking for toys for infants and toddlers.

Yes I think that it would be great help for birthdays and anniversaries and every time you need to get a gift for someone.
