I feel if you were to offer in home support for windows apple and linux , meaning lessons on how to operate and charge by the hour you would possibly see an increase in education moving towards all three systems and people who do not know how to operate a computer could learn. With changes to operating systems and people not being satified with just one operating system as they learn more this idea could increase employment and user awareness.
Thank you for your possible consideration

That is a good idea and would be well received by the customers who need and want it. Well at least for the Apple and Widows. Linux (while superior in almost every way) is a very small community.
However, it is a huge liability and scary risk nightmare and the BB lawyers would froth at the mouth.
In home one on one lessons would have to run around $50 to $100 an hour and it would be really expensive.
The store I used work at (not a BB) experimented with this. I went to one customers house on my own time and said never again.
A really good solution would be to get some sort or community ed class going. And people do need it.
When I was a computer professional myself and a bunch of others ran a free computer users group at the local library once a month. Helping people with their questions. We helped a lot of people but it ended up getting to large.
Are you stating you feel like we should offer lessons by Geek Squad agents in a customer’s home on how to operate these three operating systems?
