We Don't Want A "PROMOTION!" We Want A Benefit!!!
Make the $20 Reward Zone For Game Club Members, a permanent benefit.
The concept is simple and easy as one, two, three.
1.) $20 Reward Zone On Select New Releases For Gamer Club Members Only.
2.) $10 Reward Zone On Select New Releases For None Game Club Members.
3.) New Titles To Be Added Regularly For All Current Gaming Systems.
See, It doesn't need to be complicated.
@Allan
Please do not take my anger as directed towards you. I realize you are doing your best. I also understand that perhaps the 20$ RZ cert may not be cost effective for the company and that is why it was removed. What I don't get is why so much of the other parts of the program as also lost its luster. The coupons that are provided each month are laughable bad these past few months. The forced conversion to digital magazine was not taken kindly. (At least by those I spoke with)
If you want to bring this program some more life give us benefits that makes you unique. Give us a longer price match period for games so that we can get our savings that way. (Make it at leasts 8 weeks) Or an another idea would be giving us rewardzone silver if we buy x amount of games per year. We shouldn't be penalized if we buy the game via a price match. I price match at Best Buy because I like the company and I want to support the business and the employees at my local store. I price match at your store because I want to continue to support that so don't implement a new promo that will void that support.
I do not know that these are the solution, but I am a consumer so at the end of the day I will take my business wherever someone gives me the best deal for my money. I am a student so I don't get to spend as much as I want on games, so price is huge.
Just an F.Y.I. toys r us is selling new game pre-orders at $45. no membership fee (gcu).
@bfett9
The profit model can be easily increased if they offered more tiers to the GCU in general with higher sub prices. The problem is how can any customer have faith in them to dish out the extra cash when the current GCU model has eroded so much.
@Allan
Is there any other ways that we can reach out to BB & bring even more focus to the issues since this may give you more ammo to bring to the table if there's just so much outcry that can't be ignored. What else can we do to help you?
I expected it, and thought it was a rather generous promotion that made me "unlock" twice. So here we have a Premier Silver/Unlock paid scenario. I am honest I would rather do business with gamestop (one usually doesn't have to micromanage). However, I remain loyal to Best Buy. If you can't keep this benefit at least cough up to why you can't. For examample economically feasible? Etc? Which I don't believe is the case. Was someone's bonus affected? I mean really this isn't rocket science! Best Buy usually listens to it's customers so DO IT
Hi Gamers! Victory Can Be Pre-ordered was definitely an awesome promotion and I can certainly understand people being upset with the changes to that program. That being said, things do change and we feel they are changing for the better.
While our loyal gamers may no longer enjoy this great benefit, there are still many great benefits from Best Buy to enjoy for being a gamer with us. Gamers Club Unlocked members still can revel in the many benefits that the program has available. Throw in our pre-order exclusives and the Reward Zone Get $10 program, which still grants gamers a great benefit, and things look excellent for our gaming community!
This is just the tip of the iceberg as we continue to look for other awesome ways we can reward Gamers Club Unlocked members for providing us with their gaming business. We do listen to feedback from our customers, and while this particular promotion is going away, there is nothing to say that at some future point it might not raise its head again. Thanks for all the input!
