@Gamer Welcome kits/coupon packs should be avail. in-store

Status: Acknowledged

Because of how long it has been taking to recieve these coupon packs & most people are trying to time the coupons with the right sale BB should have them avail. in-store for purchase when you become unlocked. Cross promote the coupons along with the weekly ad & make sure your game reps are aware that way unlocked memberships will increase as a result of the exposure. If a person can make use of the program on day 1 when spending $15 upfront then the chances of them joining increase.

If BB were to sponsor special coupons packs that would also be avail. in-store this would generate instant revenue from the sponsers, increased sales & increase unlocked memberships as well.

Make it so BB make it so.

I'm changing this one to Acknowledged since it isn't really relevant any longer. These welcome kits are no provided digitally when a Reward Zone member signs up to be a Gamers Club Unlocked member.

We also need access to house coupons in the event that our mag isn't received in time. Just confirm we're unlocked & scan away."

This is a great idea.  The main reason I decided to go with a digital subscription over the physical one was to reduce waste.  Call me a crazy environmentalist but having this as an option would eliminate the need for me to print out the coupons from the digital version of @Gamer from home.

The idea behind loadings your Gamers Unlocked card with coupons is a great idea. YOu should be able to load the reward zone card with coupons. Many grocery stores allow the loading of electronic coupons to their reward cards.

Check out Fred Meyer (Kroger in the northwest). I can go on their website and load coupons to my accoutn and they get deducted when I purchase that item in store.

This would be super-handy for all the monthly coupons that I get from the @Gamer mag.  I got and used the initial coupons long ago, so that part would be of no benefit to me or anyone else that's past the initial month.

I like the idea of having that option too but there's good reason that physical coupons won't ever good away...when stuff is on the cards it's easy to forget about but I believe the studies show the actual coupons promote spending. It's all about the "money men" & what the #'s say. Older shoppers are stuck in there way & having a coupon makes them "feel" & act a certain way shopping wise.

There's definitely an ongoing benefit of this for all GCU members what happens when it's time to renew your sub? Do you wanna wait weeks to get another set of coupons or get the on the spot. This is a "tool" BB can utilize to increase subs & re-ups since the "right" sale & coupon combo could easily decided if/when a person gets unlocked. Right now there's a 2nd gaming blowout with dirt cheap game prices so having a b2g1 coupon now would be king.

The welcome kits should come in 2 forms 1 for new GCU members & one for renewals. There should be a GCU membership card included for the new members since they're starting from scratch & the renewals should get a new card in the mail with their current info on it already.
