Fix the Main Best Buy Web Site Reviews Section to work on Safari

I'm a Mac user and noticed a while back that the reviews I try and look up on the Best Buy site don't appear when I'm on my Mac using Safari or on my iPhone or iPad. Seems to work in other browsers, but given Safari is the main browser on Mac and iOS it would be really helpful to have this working.

 

I'm on OSX 10.10.1 and Safari 8.0.2 on my Mac. Latest iOS 8 on iPhone 5S and iPad 2.

This should not be the case for you. I am also an iPhone owner and I just checked to see if I could see our reviews on Safari and I had no problem seeing product reviews on BestBuy.com. I'm not an IT professional so any suggestions on how to resolve this for you would be beyond me.

It is an issue with your Safari and or your connectin setting and not the web site.

 

I also just checked quickly with my wifes iPad and they are there.

I found the error with the Best Buy site -- something I would suggest both of you configure in your Safari settings for security purposes.

 

It is suggested that the "Block Cookies" setting be set to "Allow from Web sites I Visit". So that is my default on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

 

Changing that to "Allow All" seems to have the Best Buy Ratings work.

 

I confirmed the issue by clearing all browser data, setting it back to "Allow from Web sites I Visit" and the reviews no longer appeared.

 

Note: I have a similar setting in Google's Chrome Browser and Firefox and they both work. Must be something with how Apple implements the feature in Safari for all devices.
