The current generation MacBooks have been out for almost a month and they still have no data on the tags. The current iMac signs are also creating confusion because they are not coherent. The entry level iMac fails to mention that it includes WiFi which is clearly called out on the other tags. Is there any way you guys could update this and make the signs coherent as it really does create a lot of confusion and frustration when there is missing, incomplete or incoherent data across tags. Thanks.
The items that need information are:
New! Apple® - MacBook Pro with Retina display - 13.3" Display - 8GB Memory - 128GB Flash Storage Model: MGX72LL/A SKU: 1581712
New! Apple® - MacBook Pro with Retina display - 13.3" Display - 8GB Memory - 256GB Flash Storage Model: MGX82LL/A SKU: 6941972
New! Apple® - MacBook Pro with Retina display - 13.3" Display - 8GB Memory - 512GB Flash Storage Model: MGX92LL/A SKU: 6936626
New! Apple® - MacBook Pro with Retina display - 15.4" Display - 16GB Memory - 256GB Flash Storage Model: MGXA2LL/A SKU: 6238612
New! Apple® - MacBook Pro with Retina display - 15.4" Display - 16GB Memory - 512GB Flash Storage Model: MGXC2LL/A SKU: 6238524
The current tags pretty much just list those specs (just as displayed above) without all the graphics and other elements of the other models.
It would also be beneficial for Best Buy to investigate a way to display three models at once, as most of the stores only advertise two of the three 13" models due to limited space. There should be some universal standard around this, whereas I'm noticing some stores that just don't advertise one of the models and some stores advertise it on the back of one of the sign holders which is just as effective as not advertising it at all. Just trying to provide insight from a customer viewpoint. Thanks!
@Allan-BBY The desktop one I was referring to are these:
Apple® - 21.5" iMac® - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive
Model: MF883LL/A SKU: 2680419
Apple® - 21.5" iMac® - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive
Model: ME086LL/A SKU: 5851991
Apple® - 21.5" iMac® - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive
Model: ME087LL/A SKU: 7810143
When you compare them side-by-side the top one does not list WiFi as a built-in feature in the way that the other two do and the titling is different which creates confusion about it being the same as the other two models, if that makes sense.
The same applies here where I really wish Best Buy would find a way to display all three of these at once because stores display the top two and not the third or put the third on the back. Curiously, I'm wondering if the bottom model on both this post and the previous are the lowest in sales becuase they're most likely not getting the same "front and center" displaying as the other two models in both case. I know you can't discuss that here, but that's worth looking into.
this is a great idea, however, the stores should know the new models are out and the signage needs to be updated. vote it up!
also, as noted in another post, Best Buy needs to carry i7 processors and different Mac options for its customers instead of just the standard models.
@Allan-BBY School has just started for many people and I think there was some oversight on this item: Apple® - Thunderbolt-to-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Model | MD463ZM/A SKU | 5855333 any way you could see if there are plans to push a massive amount of these out to stores because a lot of schools now-a-days do not let students bring routers into on-campus housing for security reasons so A LOT of business is being walked around this SKU. It appears to run all the way down to the border in terms of constraints.

@gadgeteer, for competitive reasons I would not be able to share any efforts we could have in getting more of any product to the market. I can promise you we work to make sure every customer can purchase what they are looking for.
@Allan-BBY Thanks! Just wanted to make you guys aware of that particular situation.
