Not a new idea, I'm surebut I'd like to be able to revise reviews on my purchases.  The time allowed to post them is too short to really get to know the products before reviewing in the first place.  Bruce

This is most likely not an option in order to preserve the integrity of the review at the time it was posted. I do hear where you are coming from on this though. Would anyone else like this option? Remember to vote for an idea if you like it.

I need to edit, redo or delete a review I had posted on a product I had purchased. How do I accomplish this?

It is extremely necessary to allow users be able to edit or rewrite a review on a product.  Many people write reviews right after their purchase but the most accurate review would be after they spend some time with product.

I would like to edit my review as well. I made a comment about a 4K TV's 3D content, but I stated that I haven't yet contacted Sony Support to fix the problem. They helped me fix it, and I would like to change the review. I would vote for it. (Or at least if you can make an exception, that would be great.)

Please let us edit reviews. It's crazy to not be able to update or correct something online. I have a review that I'd like to edit to improve the information I originally provided. At least allow an "update" option where you can see the original review then any additions since then, each with a date so readers can see the difference.

I know I'm fairly late to this discussion, but I would also like to be able to update reviews on products, and I'm a little surprised the feature hasn't been implemented, 2 years later. I've recently reviewed a product and gave it a low rating, because there were several issues with the product design (it's not even out yet). 

Best Buy Customer Service thanked me for my attention to detail and let me know it was fixed and I'd like to update my review because the item seems great now that the issue was resolved.

The moderator gave this reason for not allowing revisions: "in order to preserve the integrity of the review." But if a reviewer makes a mistake and makes an erroneous, there is no way to fix that. Where is the integrity in having false information up there as a real review?

The biggest online retailer (Amazon) allows editing of reviews. I think Best Buy should follow suit. If not EDIT the existing review, at least give us the option to ADD TO the review.

Editing reviews is neccessary to keep product ratings accurate.  My dishwasher broke two months after it was installed.  Pretty sure that 5 star review needs to be deleted or changed...
