Not a new idea, I'm surebut I'd like to be able to revise reviews on my purchases.  The time allowed to post them is too short to really get to know the products before reviewing in the first place.  Bruce

I would also like to edit my review.  I gave it a one star and HP stepped up and took care of the problem and would like to change it to 5 stars.  I have even tried to post a new comment and it won't allow it.

Reviewers should at least be able to update the town of their residence. I reside in Chicago yet all of my reviews still say that I am posting from Lockport.

I think if you are using these comments with the intention of assisting customer in finding the right product, then we must be allowed to edit our reviews.  Shortly after posting a review about my new TV, I discovered the feature I could not find and did not think was available, so I am not giving correct info to an interested buyer.

Even if you cannot edit the review, you should be able to at least add comments or append additional information.  It is ridiculous to think all info is available at immediately after purchase.  I have wanted to do this with mulitple products.  I bought headphones that I loved, but needed to have them replaced 4 times in the one year warranty.  They alsways put out out great sound, until they quit working.  The final pair is still working, but it is now out of warranty.I had given them 5 stars. I cannot even add info about this.

Is this still not a thing here? Come one Best Buy! I want to write a review on a new product, but I'd like to have the ability to go back and add pictures and edit it as I spend more time with it in the long run.

Many sites are actually allowing users to change their reviews nowdays. When something doesn't work correctly, for example, users are sometimes very irritated. If they feel like their issue isn't being addressed, they leave a scathing review. Later when the company gets back to them and the issue is addressed with good or even exceptional results, a customer would rightfully want to change their review. Best Buy actually does product suppliers a disservice by forcing users to keep their less than accurate review. Conversely when someone is happy with a product and it breaks prematurely or customer service is horrible, customers are the ones who are done a huge disservice. To keep reviews relevant and actually useful, they should be editable for at least 12 months.

@Allan-BBY I understand the need to "preserve the integrity of the review" hence not allowing a review to be edited. HOWEVER, the integrity of the review is also lost when you cannot edit the review especially when the reviewer realizes later that the review contained many factual errors and would like to correct it but cannot. Also, Amazon allows edits... 

Perhaps you will allow updates to the reviews without changing the original review. Yelp has this function, and this is actually very VERY helpful. The new review shows as the primary review, but the previous review shows right below it. It looks like this (some content changed for effect):
