Best buy should stop using ontrac to ship items, they are terrible, i preordered a game a few years ago, and got it 6 days late from them, being years later i forgot that ontrac does the preorder deliveries, ordered a game that was released on the 19th, and still havent gotten it 5 days later, and their now saying it should come tonight late at night. i think im done preordering from best buy because of ontrac.

I find it odd they use OnTrac.  However, it is regional so it not available where I live. All my BB products that I don't pick up in store come via UPS or USPS.

Question,  you live in a more remote location where UPS does not normally deliver to?

Or do you have  PO Box, so OnTrac is used to deliver to your house as USPS would not.

Then there is no good excuse. Personaly I don't trust UPS or USPS to deliver packages undamage or that they won't get nabbed off my front step or mailbox.  So I always opt for in store pick up.

Which is not an option for everyone.  I am lucky to have a store across the street from my office adn a differet store 5 miles away.

If I remember correctly they quit using ontrac for awhile and then went back when ups and USPS had a ton of delays

I had surgery the week before so that's why I had pre-ordered I didn't know if I could drive the 20 miles or not. And it's been 2 weeks now and still don't have it.

Now that I revisit this thread, I too despise of Ontrac - they tend to deliver orders very late at night around where I live which results in stolen packages. They are not very reliable. If an item is delivered via USPS and it can fit in a mail box safely without damage then yes, do that. I order online from a popular auction site now and then and can tell you that items have a 100% reliability delivery rate through the postal service.

Oh, and unlike the company thats "A to Z" The USPS actually takes the time to deliver the orders to customers doorsteps in apartment complexes, that company I mention just dumps packages in mail rooms to encourage more theft.
