CowBoom Being able to accept Best Buy Giftcards

Status: Tell Us More
by Dubs29 on ‎01-03-2015 10:33 AM
Hello,
I have tried and tried to get Best Buy to get your affiliate CowBoom set up so it can accept Best Buy Gift Cards. It is incredulous that a Company Owned by Best Buy and who holds contests giving Best Buy Gift Cards refuses to accept them in exchange for payment. To make matters worse CowBoom "Your Company" Accepts Amazon Gift Cards but not your own. It makes it seem as though your saying BB GC's aren't worth anything compared to your competition. You really need to get this corrected and start accepting Best Buy Gift Cards at CowBoom immediately!

I have to admit it is strange that CowBoom would accept Amazon gift cards as payment and not Best Buy gift cards. Would anyone else like to see this happen at CowBoom?

Hey why doesn't BB allow cow boom to accept your Giftcards? I tried buying an Xbox One on special only to be told I can't use my $200 in BB GC's on s site you own and run. That's completely stupid. I never tried amazon GC's now I'm wondering I can try to trade my bb ones for Amazon's!!!!!

Allan, you can use Amazon Checkout via CowBoom and by doing so use your Amazon Giftcards.  I have spoken with numerous CSR's at CB who all agree that it doesn't make sense to not accept Best Buys own cards.  Just look at CB's latest couple giveaways.  They award Best Buy Giftcards but then refuse to accept them as payment.  I mean BB already owns CB why wouldn't they allow there own Giftcards as payment.  It is only logical and will allow for more people to buy Giftcards from BB to use at their affiliate sites.  Patrons spend more money, sales increase, and in every way BB pleases it's shareholders.  Truly a Win / Win solution!

One thing I'd like to see implemented on Cowboom is some quality standards. I skimmed through the slim PS3 listings the last time there was a good code that would take one down to $100 or so and all I saw were systems that were missing everything but the console itself or they were in HORRIBLE shape.

Don't get me wrong. I have extra controllers and cables out the wazoo, but for used systems with an unknown history I'd have to be paying next to nothing before I would consider an incomplete/dirty/busted up looking system.
