Carry i7 13" MacBook Pro with Retina In-Store

In speaking with many customers in store, I think it would be beneficial for Best Buy to consider carrying the 13" MacBook Pro with Retina, model: Z0QC-ME8662.

A lot of customers prefer the portability of the 13" model over the 15" and when you explain the difference in processing, graphics, etc. between the two models, a lot of customers are willing to forgo the performance (the 15" is a quad vs. the 13" being a dual core) of the 15" for the portabiltiy and better battery of the 13";  I think this is due more to Best Buy's customers, more often than not, being more basic-intermediate users.  We don't get a lot of people looking to do HD/4K video production, looking to run a music studio with capabilities of up to 32 tracks at a time, etc.  But we get a fair amount of people who look at the i5 as "middle of the road" and they figure if they go i7 it'll last that much longer.

The price difference between the highest end model you carry now is $1799 to $1999 for this model in question which is in-line with the $200 price difference between all of the other 13" models (864 being $1299, 865 being $1499 and $866 being $1799).

I don't know how I missed this one, and am sorry for the delay in responding to this. Would anyone else like to see us carry the MacBook Pro with Retina display that has the i7 processor instead of the i5 processor? Remember to vote for an idea if you like it.

I agree with this, Best Buy should offer a customization program that allows the buyer to select the processor, memory and graphics/video card (if applicable to that particular Mac).  I always have to buy my Apple computers from Apple since they offer the building feature.  Expand this Best Buy!
