Can we see reviews for products which are no longer on

I wanted to see reviews for a recently discontinued product, is there a way to see them?  I was specifically looking for the questions and reviews for this Dell PC - Model: I7368-0027GRY SKU: 5216602, the item description and picture come up online but I can't click thru to the reviews (per a google search there are 729 reviews).  We are now having a wifi connection issue with it and I recall some of the reviews had the same problem along with some solutions to try.  Thanks for the help.

I think while it would be nice it would be an issue with consuming web space.  And then how long would you keep them around.

From a business standpoint it would not make good sense to post reviews for things you no longer carry. And reviews could end up numbering in the hundreds of thousands after a few years.

I was only asking for the ability to read past reviews, not post new ones. I don't think it would take much web storage space at all - it's just text and memory has never been cheaper.  And BB could set a reasonable limit for when they would delete the item and all the reviews, say 6 months to a year.  There is a ton of good info in some of the reviews that would be helpful to BB's customers, post purchase, and anything that keeps a customer on the web site has some value to the corporation (that could help offset any added cost).

Also, as a point of comparison, one of BB's major competitors seems to keep thier reviews up "forever".   I just checked on my list of reviews over there and a product that I reviewed in 2004, and was discontinued in 2005, still shows up!

Its certainly not a must have but it would be nice to have, especially when there might be some useful troubleshooting info in the reviews.

Well from a business point of view if you want to read reviews on products Best Buy no longer carries becasuse you want to buy it. Then obviously you are not intending on buying the product from Best Buy.

So why should Best Buy take the time and expense of helping you purchase from a competitor?  Get the reviews from the competitor.

Some might want to call it good customer service. But I disagree.  Best Buy carries many thousands of products.  To keep a series of reviews would require keeping it in some sort of inventory but not available.

Also there are numerous web sites out there that have done professional reviews on products and they are still available today.  The plasma TV I purchased on 2009 that was discontinued in 2010 still has reviews on it from numerous sources.
