Bring the Apple Mac Pro desktop into Best Buy stores.

Currently the Mac Pro is only available online.  I could understand, when it first came out, making it online only, as you could not get your hands on them because they were back ordered by several months; However, with improved availability, I would love to see Best Buy expand it's in-store assortment to include the Mac Pro.  I find it weird that Best Buy would carry the $2500 MacBook Pro with Retina but all of sudden the Mac Pro is not worth carrying even though it's the most powerful and customizable Mac Apple's built-to-date.

I would love to see Best Buy pilot selling the base model Mac Pro in select stores - maybe start with the top 50 or 100 Mac-selling stores and see how it does and expand from there?

It's an Apple decision what BBY stores get the Mac Pro

@kst8no1 Best Buy chooses their own assortment. The other reason this is a HUGE opportunity for Best Buy is no other reseller carries the FULL Apple Assortment;  most carry iPods, iPads (in 16GB only), iPhones (usually in 16GB only as well) and no Macs.  Essentially Best Buy is directing all high-end Mac purchasers to Apple which  is silly because there's obviously some areas where there are no Apple stores but there IS a Best Buy and they are ignoring this opportunity to introduce Apple customers to the Best Buy brand. You'd be amazed at how many people don't even realize that Best Buy carries Apple computers in-store.

No it's Apples call what stores carry certain models. Most stores will have iPods and iPads but Macs are different. Right now Apple is deciding which 2 stores in our 17 store district will carry Mac Pros in store. Also not all BBYs carry the Retina models. Why? Because Apple has the final say
