I review nearly every purchase I make on BestBuy.com.  From time to time I check random reviews I've written and other buyers have become "verified".  Although this hasn't been explained to me, I feel myself and other buyers should become "verified".  Changing the "reviews" tab on every item page, should make buyers put in the customer service pin and select the items they'd like to review based on their recent purchase.  This should make the buyer from BestBuy.com a "verified" purchase rather than have "trolls" post useless reviews on the site.  I believe this change or correction should avoid any negative feedback from the vast customer community of Best Buy and evade internet trolls at the same time.  Hope this idea is considered by many!

As long as you purchase the item logged into the site it should show up as verified purchaser. I am a Top 25 Contributor and I know you won't get verifier if buy in store but on BestBuy.com it should be fine. If it doesn't i would consider calling up customer service or posting under bestBuy.com on here.

Just some more insight on Reviews in general I would love to the in store purchases as well added to this. Just for the sake of examples when i bought the Batman LEGO PS3 package deal in December I bought it online, the online details didn't say what model PS3 you are receiving so I took a stab at getting the model i wanted. 

I had to drive 50 miles out of the way to get to the nearest BestBUy and return the item...get another one that I was assured would fit my needs...and guess what same thing.. .there is another 50 miles trip. 

But you know, i wasn't even mad at BestBuy.com or the store for those trips cause I was taking a risk in the first place. After doing further research I found out the omodel I needed and went from there 9 and still don't have it as the model I need is apparently super expensive/rare lol ) 

Anyway getting off topic... my point is this I could had reviewed both of the systems I was given and reported that if you are looking for a model that can do a specific function i could so another poor fellow who has to drive 100 miles in total won't have the same situation happen to them.

Interesting suggestion. Would anyone else like to see this put into place? Make sure to vote for an idea if you like it.

@AWBrown hey, i know for a fact when i'm signed into the bestbuy.com and purchase what i need and then review it later, it never shows up as a "verified" purchase.  it would just be easier to submit your customer service pin on your receipt into the review section and become a verified purchaser that way.  this way you get real reviews and no internet trolls, especially on very high ticket items!

@AWBrown yes i do and/or email address and password.  it doesnt make me a verified buyer.  i really think this should be changed or updated to allow for very accurate reviews from REAL buyers.

Also, don't allow reviews on items that are either coming soon or not available.
