What ever changes Best Buy has done to its inventory, online ordering, order processing & shipping service over the past several months is awful.
Please revert back to the old system that had bestbuy.com tied in more accurately with local store inventory, the current setup seems to not connect in to show accurate in store availability.
Second, processing times for online orders has increased from 1 to 2 business days to 3 to 5 which is highly unaccepatble in comparison to other vendors including Amazon.com and sellers on Amazon.
Also the current shipping option sucks!! UPS Postal Solutions or anything to do with USPS (other than Priority Mail & Next Day Priority) are absolutely horrible. Once again, Amazon.com (both Prime & non-Prime) options are far superior to what bestbuy.com has to offer which is greatly out weighting the benefits of the rewards program.
At this point I am about to cease all bestbuy.com orders for personal and business needs because of the slow order processing and decision to go to slower shipping methods especially for those of us that spend thousands of dollars a year in purchases from Best Buy.
Additonally in store customer service and sales support is virtually non-existant (at least in WA).
Nothing like walking into a store and seeing employees do their best (very obvious) to avoid making eye contact with customers or being available on the floor to help anyone ..... the Bellevue, WA and other Seattle area stores seems to exhibit the same employee behavior to do their best to look busy when on the floor on their way to the back rooms (including surpervisors and managers).
It is no wonder that Best Buy is losing money and sales .... no one wants to do any actual work and the company keeps doing what it can to be less convenient to customers including slow delivery of online sales!!
