Currently, Best Buy Gamer's Club Unlocked members save 20% off new games. This is a great feature, and that's why I don't mind paying for the new (much more expensive) service. However, the exclusion of digital games makes me less likely to purchase more titles.

Since we're now paying $120 for a 2 year subscription, it seems logical to include digital console titles seeing as how digital is the future. Many of us gamers want to move away from having physical copies, and instead have digital copies.

Going with this, the amount of digital games for systems like Xbox One and Playstation 4 are extremely lacking. I'd love to see more games available, similar to how Amazon has done, so I may purchase more!

I am in full support of this. I have decided to go all digital for this console generation on, and picking up GCU would have been a no brainer if the discount were extended to things like PSN codes and PC downloads. also if something like Infamous Second Son goes on sale I would love to see the digital price match physical. 

Please make this happen, In order for me to really maximize the value of the paid sub (which I picked up the other day, albeit with reservations).

@Padinn, I just heard back on this. At this time we will not be moving forward on this idea, but that doesn't mean we won't put this into place sometime in the future.

I really wish the 20% applied to digital games. I'd love to not have all these discs.

Would love for some kind of GCU discount to apply to digital game purchases, even if it is lower than the discount for a physical game.  It's the main issue blocking me from signing up for GCU, and as such I rarely buy games from BB.  I wait for deals on digital storefront gift cards instead.  If I didn't have to do that anymore I think I'd use BB for the lion's share of my game purchases.

I just got Gamers Club Unlocked for free with my console purchase.

Sadly, I don't feel it will bring me any value as I buy all of my games digitally.  I think the future is digital, too, so I think Best Buy should work to create value for those who buy digital game purchases with GCU - otherwise for those buyers (which will likely grow over time) it is a virtually impossible sell.

I think this is still worth further consideration. I too am beginning to invest in building a digital games library, and for now I am limited to waiting on Xbox Live to feature my wanted items in weekly deals. If Best Buy were to allow the 20% GCU discount to be applied to digital content, they - not Xbox - would more readily receive my business. Furthermore, digital content, unlike physical games, cannot be traded in for Best Buy store credit. While Best Buy must certainly benefit from the sale of used games, with the sale of digital content, there is also no potential for the customer to recoup the value of games via trade-ins. Yes, in some respects, this hurts customers. As it stands now, however, without the benefits of GCU applied to digital content, there is literally ZERO incentive for anybody to purchase digital content from Best Buy. In short, I feel both Best Buy and it's GCU customers would stand to benefit if the 20% GCU discount were applied to digital content.

Since it has been six or seven months now, I'm hoping that this can be brought up again. I don't know how much Best Buy takes in on digital purchases, but some kind of discount on digital games would be better than nothing. Honestly, I'd pay more for my GCU subscription if it came with digital discounts. There are just some games that I'd prefer to own digitally (games that I will never trade in/games that will be worth nothing when I'm ready to trade them in). It's convenient, and I don't have to manage a growing collection of cases.

As it stands right now, I'm buying discounted PSN/Xbox cards online (PSN cards are 20% off on a competitors site right now), and I'm using them to buy the games that I want digitally. 

Can you please take a look at this again? If you're able to make this happen, you could potentially get all of the gamers that have decided to go digitial this gen.
